Toastie Dutch Beemster Cheese & Kimchi

Just another vegetarian twist on the more traditional toastie with ham and cheese. What about spicy kimchi instead?

Vegetarian Kimchi & Beemster Toastie

Servings 1 Toastie
Prep Time 2 minutes
Cook Time 5 minutes


  • Grill pan
  • Fine Sieve


  • 2 slices Bread
  • 2 slices Beemster 'Jong'
  • Some Kimchi


  • Drain the kimchi in the fine sieve and pat dry with a paper towel.
  • In the meantime, you can heat the grillpan.
  • Top the slice of bread with a slice of cheese, some kimchi and more cheese.
  • Grill the sandwich until the cheese is melted!
