Marrowfat Peas

  • 250 gram Marrowfat Peas
  • 1 Onion
  • Pickled Vegetables
  • 100 gram Bacon


  • Cut the onion in rings and caramelize half a onion in a baking pan. The other half you can serve raw (if you like).
  • Cook the fresh marrowfat peas in water for about 10 minutes. Don't use any salted water, since this will affect the texture of the beans.
  • Bake the bacon till crispy.
  • Serve the peas with the different toppings, syrup, piccalilly sauce and sweet & sour vegetables.
