300mlOat Milkor Regular milk
5driedPrunes
Pinchof Cinnamon
Pinch of Ginger
2Tangerine
2tbspGinger Syrup
Walnuts or other nuts
Instructions
Cut the prunes in smaller pieces. Heat the milk with the oats, prunes, cinnamon, ginger & zest of the tangerine. Stir the oat mixture during the heating to make sure it cooks evenly.
Roast the walnuts in a baking pan. When toasted, add juice of half a tangerine and the ginger syrup. Bring to the boil and then turn off the heat.
The oats are ready when the milk and oats are mixed together and the consistency is a bit thicker. It was probably take about 5 minutes.
Put the oats in a bowl & top with nuts, syrup and tangerine.
