During autumn mixed mushrooms are a gift! I love the savory flavor of the mushrooms. They taste great with some butter & herbs. When you have some fresh herbs in-house, you can mix those with olive oil to make a vegan herb oil.
Mushrooms on Toast
- Frying Pan
- 2 slices Bread
- 3 tbsp Vegan Pesto or herb oil
- 30 gram Butter
- 200 gram Mixed Mushrooms
- Toast the slices of bread in the toaster.
- Cook the mushrooms in the frying pan with some butter and rosemary. When the mushrooms are golden brown, they are done. This will take about 5 minutes.
- Spread some (vegan) pesto or herb oil on the toast and add the hot mushrooms. Sprinkle some sea salt flakes and chili flakes on top to finish it. Enjoy!
